Access to our data center is provided by multiple redundant Gigabit connections through Bell/Group Telecom and Shaw/BigPipe, linked through Gigabit backbones to all major peering points in North America.
Our fiberoptic network is part of two concentric fiber rings from Edmonton to Calgary, and Saskatoon to Winnipeg, allowing us to instantly route East or West depending on any network conditions. We also have directed routed paths connected out of the 151 Front Street Toronto Hub.
All of our servers are located in a temperature-controlled secure environment, with multiple power grids, generator and UPS back-up power. We have a triple-redundant chilled-water based cooling system with 2-stage fire protection. 99.95+% uptime.
Each server features dual power supplies, redundant fans, multiple network ports, processors and RAM as well as an independent RAID controllers to ensure continued availability in the event of any component failure. We have the ability to loose multiple servers without any disruption of service using VMware technolgy.
All critical system data (including databases) is backed up and archived in realtime. Typically our servers average close to 300 days uptime with no disruption in service except for rare maintenance intervals.
